2017 marks the 36th consecutive year of Ireland’s toughest cycling challenge, the Wicklow 200.
The event, and the newer Wicklow 100 Challenge, which takes place on the same day, includes many of the most difficult mountains in Co. Wicklow and some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland.
For 2017 there is a new Start/Finish at the Bray Emmets GAA Club.
Along the way riders can avail of water, food and repair stops at points to be confirmed.
In addition, roving repair vehicles travelling on the route throughout the day will assist riders in the event of a mechanical problem.
At the end of a long, tough day on the bike, riders will be rewarded with a coveted finisher’s medal and a well-earned meal.
Check the website for up to date information on the event.
