Starting in Greystones and heading to Kilmacanogue, Roundwood, Laragh, the Wicklow Gap, Holywood, Baltinglass, Aghavannagh, Slieve Mann, Drumgoff, Glenmalure, Rathdrum, south to the Meeting of the Waters and on to Avoca, a left turn through the villiage, past the now famous Ballykiss Angels pub and on to Redcross, Ballinderrig, then Kilmacurra, Ashford on on to the finish in Greystones.
The Wicklow 100 will veer left in Laragh and straight to Rathdrum for the checkpoint there and return on the same route as the Wicklow 200.
The I.V.C.A, supported by the Wicklow Co. Co, Irish Red Cross will have approximately 200 volunteers helping out on the day, providing first-aid cover, mechanical breakdown cover, route marshalling, car parking, changing rooms, showers, refreshment stops on the Wicklow Gap, Baltinglass, Slieve Mann, Rathdrum and at the finish in Shoreline Leisure Centre, Greystones. All finishers will be presented with a special Wicklow 200 medal.
Starting and finishing at the Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones, all their excellent facilities at the centre are at your disposal. Along the way we have water, food and repair stops at Baltinglass and Rathdrum. Also our roving repair vehicles will travel on the circuit are always delighted to assist in the event of a mechanical problem. At the end of the day you will be rewarded with a medal, along with food, tea and coffee. You will then be able to look around and chat with others who have experienced the event.
